Professional experience

Mr. Gorji specializes in various areas of international trade law, with a focus on export control, international economic sanctions and boycotts and has an extensive experience in Ukraine and Iran.

He coordinates the Assistance Desk for Trade Barriers and Intellectual Property created by the Italian Trade Agency of Kiev, since 2023. He provides legal advice and assistance to Italian and foreign companies regarding internationalization processes, such as offshoring, real estate, investments and international procurement in Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Turkey, in Central Asia, in the United Arab Emirates and in Algeria; He is an accredited Export Compliance Officer at EIFEC.

He has worked in both Washington D.C. and Tehran, where he gained considerable experience with disputes among Western and Iranian companies, both in litigation and in international arbitration.
As a result of his experience in the Middle East, Mr. Gorji also specializes in advising clients in hereditary successions regulated by Islamic law, including Shiite law and Iranian law. 

Mr. Gorji is legal advisor to international chambers of commerce and various industrial associations; He is also accredited by diplomatic missions in Italy and abroad. 

He organized and attended as a speaker at more than 80 seminars and training courses at the national and international levels on foreign investments, export control compliance, international sanctions, Iranian law and Islamic law. 

Mr. Gorji was the author of the first guide in Italy on export control, the book “International sanctions, export control and compliance programs”, published by Wolters Kluwer; In Iran he published the book in Persian “Doing Business in Italy”, with Jangal Editions; He was one of the co-authors of the book “World Encryption Controls”, published by WorldECR.

وی به شرکت‌های ایرانی و اروپایی در دعاوی قضایی و داوری، در تحقق سرمایه‌گذاری‌های بین‌المللی و ایجاد سرمایه‌گذاری مشترک کمک نموده و همپنین مشاور حقوقی اتاق‌های بازرگانی، انجمن‌های صنعتی و شرکت‌های دولتی و خصوصی فعال در ایران و ایتالیا می‌باشد.
